Ri8Lane collects limited information to provide you with personalized credit card recommendations:

Account Information: When you sign up using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Card Preferences: Card types you add to your wallet (e.g., “HDFC Regalia”, “SBI SimplyCLICK”). We only store the card name and reward metadata — never your card numbers, CVV, expiry dates, or any financial credentials.
Billing Preferences: Optional statement date and payment due day to optimize billing cycle recommendations.
Usage Data: Store searches, recommendation interactions, and general usage patterns to improve our service.
Device Information: Browser type, screen resolution, and operating system for compatibility and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

Provide personalized credit card recommendations based on your wallet and the store you’re shopping at.
Display relevant coupons, cashback offers, and deals from our affiliate partners.
Improve our recommendation engine and user experience.
Send important service updates (no marketing emails without consent).

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring you can only access your own data.
All communications are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
We implement security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options) to protect against common web attacks.
Guest users’ data is stored locally in the browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party services:

Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure.
Google OAuth: Secure sign-in without password management.
Affiliate Networks (CueLinks, Admitad, INRDeals): Provide coupon and cashback data. When you click an affiliate link, the partner may set cookies to track the referral. We earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Logo.dev: Store logo images. Your IP address may be visible to this service when logos load.
Netlify: Website hosting and delivery.

5. Affiliate Disclosure

Ri8Lane earns commissions through affiliate partnerships. When you click “Shop at Store” or “Apply for Card” links, you may be redirected through an affiliate tracking link. This does not affect the price you pay or the rewards you earn. Our recommendations are based on reward rates, not affiliate commissions.

6. Your Rights

Access: You can view all data we store about you through your account.
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Opt-out: Use the app as a guest without creating an account. Guest data stays in your browser only.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. Affiliate partners may set third-party cookies when you click on deal links. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

Ri8Lane is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us for removal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Ri8Lane after changes constitutes acceptance.
